I was pleased to have been able to exhibit a small series of paintings based on a families immigration to Australia in the 1950's at the Moreton Bay Region The Hub Gallery from 29 July to 23 August, 2014. Click on the above link to view the exhibition.

I was very pleased with my exhibition in late 2013 at the Sunshine Coast Region Butter Factory Arts Centre. The paintings were a selection from works in the Time Passing 2013 portfolio. The above link will take you to this portfolio.

It was a pleasure to deal with the gallery staff and I received some pleasing feedback from visitors to the gallery.

Here are some of the comments which were left by attendees in the visitors book:

-"This art takes a certain amount of time to understand and grasp. Many of the art pieces in here have amazing depth and intelligence."

- "This work is fresh, I thought an art school graduate, not someone born in 1946!!! I've been in each week for a month and there is more to discover with each visit."

- "Obvious is the thought behind these works. Different to many perspectives on life and passing of time."

About me

Welcome to my website and thank you for stopping by!

I have been passionate about art my entire life and after many years of juggling a teaching career with painting, drawing and sculpture, I now paint on a full time basis from my home studio in Peregian Beach, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.

Over the last 45 years, I have conducted numerous exhibitions, completed a Fine Arts degree and continuously sought to improve and diversify my works. I regularly attend workshops internationally and continue to enjoy life drawing classes on a fortnightly basis closer to home at Noosa.

In my paintings I focus on my feelings, thought processes and attitudes toward various aspects of life.

My various portfolios of work can be viewed by clicking on the respective menu links (LHS above).

I hope you enjoy.
