Wendy Epp - Artist, BA Fine Arts

About me

Welcome to my website and thank you for stopping by!

I have been passionate about art my entire life and after many years of juggling a teaching career with painting, drawing and sculpture, I now paint on a full time basis from my home studio in Peregian Beach, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.

Over the last 45 years, I have conducted numerous exhibitions, completed a Fine Arts degree and continuously sought to improve and diversify my works. I have attend workshops internationally and continue to enjoy life drawing classes on a fortnightly basis closer to home at Noosa.

In my current paintings I focus on my feelings, thought processes and attitudes toward various aspects of life.

My portfolio can be viewed by clicking on the respective menu links (LHS above).

I hope you enjoy.

The exhibition of finalist artworks for both the 2016 Noosa Art Award and the inaugural Lyn Mc Crea Memorial Drawing Prize at the Noosa Regional Gallery will close on 26 June 2016.

The exhibition of finalist artworks for the 2016 Moreton Bay Art Award at the Strathpine Community Centre closed on 30 May 2016.

I was pleased with feedback following my exhibition of paintings at the Butter Factory Arts Centre, Cooroy from 26 March to 8 May 2016, such as:

"This was truely magnificent! It really opened my mind to the importance of how you deal with events and keeping your mind in a healthy and happy state. Truly inspirational."

"Amazing work. Very unique. Very thought provoking. Great palate." (palette?)

"Love the use of texture and layering."

I am now at an early stage of compiling a new body of work continuing on from my current theme of "Matters of the mind".
